1. India's first MWh-scale Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) system inaugurated at NTPC NETRA on November 11, 2025.
2. The VRFB system has a capacity of 3 MWh.
3. Shri Manohar Lal, Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, inaugurated the system.
4. The project aims to enhance renewable energy integration and grid resilience.
5. NTPC NETRA is the R&D Centre of NTPC located at Greater Noida.
