PM to inaugurate Safran Aircraft Engine Services India facility on 26th November

1. Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI) facility to be inaugurated on November 26th.
2. SAESI is Safran’s MRO facility for LEAP engines.
3. This is the first global engine OEM MRO operation in India.
4. The facility is located at GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park – SEZ, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad.
5. Initial investment in the facility is around ₹1,300 crore.
6. SAESI will service up to 300 LEAP engines annually.
7. The facility will employ over 1,000 skilled technicians and engineers by 2035.
