MARITIME INFORMATION SHARING WORKSHOP 2025

Key Points

1. The Maritime Information Sharing Workshop (MISW) 2025 will be held from 03 - 05 Nov 2025 in Gurugram, India.
2. The theme of MISW 2025 is “Enhancing Real-Time Coordination and Information Sharing Across the Indian Ocean Region.”
3. The Information Fusion Centre – Indian Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) is hosting MISW 2025.
4. The inaugural edition of MISW was conducted in 2019.
5. Vice Admiral Tarun Sobti, the Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (DCNS), will inaugurate the workshop.
6. Mr. Sushil Mansing Khopde, IPS, Additional Director General of DG Shipping, will deliver the keynote address.
7. IFC-IOR was inaugurated on 22 Dec 2018.
8. IFC-IOR is headed by Captain Sachin Kumar Singh.
